Antica Bottega Del Vino of New York City was rated as excellent in the 2010 Zagat New York Food Lovers’ Guide and recommended in the prestigious 2009’s Michelin Guide. It was modeled after the tradition and ambiance of Bottega Del Vino in Verona, Italy, one of Italy’s premiere wine houses since 1890. Proprietor Severino Barzan, one of the most illustrious personalities in the world of wine, spoils wine lovers with a selection of approximately 2800 wines in addition to a wine cellar, one of Verona’s largest, which houses an estimated 130,000 bottles. Among the many talents of Mr. Barzan, most notable is his creation of his own crystal stemware that is hand-blown, lead free and of startling clarity and uniqueness. The stemware is known for improving and preserving the very wine it was designed to hold.

Since November of 2005, Bottega Del Vino has pampered its guests with superb Veronese Northern Italian cuisine combined with fresh and seasonal ingredients – giving them the experience of the most authentic Italian restaurant in all of New York City. In order to preserve the integrity and essence of the original Bottega Del Vino, all of the restaurant’s furnishings are imported directly from Italy including the 100-year old aged wood pillars, marble tops, and etched copper and antique chandeliers. We offer a formal dining room, two larger rooms for private parties and a casual dining area for breakfast and lunch.
